Pearl fish jewelry

I had inspiration to make a necklace the represented a dead fish. But I wanted the bones to be freshwater pearls and the head and tail for be representative shapes made of metal.

I first found old earrings and cut out the metal shapes by hand, then I bought pearls, and wire wrapped them to create the effect.

A few months later I made more with fake peal beads to cut costs of production, and I took these to the “oddities and curiosities expo” in Vancouver. There I sold every single necklace I made to people attending the con. Maybe next year I will get a booth…
